The Roentgen Museum Neuwied was opened in 1928 as a district museum in a building designed by the Cologne architects Mattar and Scheler.

A disabled parking space is located directly behind the museum building. Access to the museum is at ground level and there are no steps. All levels of the museum can be reached by wheelchair users via a large passenger elevator.

The disabled toilet is on the 3rd floor and is easily accessible via the large passenger elevator.

The passenger elevator can be operated with large tactile characters.
There are some tactile objects available.
