The Leopold Hoesch Museum was opened in 1905 and has an imposing neo-baroque façade. There are 6 designated disabled parking spaces in the public car park at Hoeschplatz, approx. 150 meters from the museum. Access to the museum for wheelchair users is not in the area of ​​the main entrance but on the left side of the building. Here is the entrance to the elevator, which can be called with a bell on the outside.

The two exhibition levels of the building can be reached by elevator.

A disabled toilet is located on the ground floor next to the museum café. The museum café is barrier-free.

Folding stools (50) can be borrowed.

Seating is available on each exhibition level.

Guided tours for the blind/visually impaired are available on request.
