With the "Home Game" exhibition, the Waldfrieden Sculpture Park is showing a selection of works from its own collection on the occasion of its 15th anniversary. For Tony Cragg, who, as the museum's founder and artistic director, also curates the "Home Game" exhibition, the project offers the opportunity to look back at the exhibition program of the past 15 years based on selected works. The exhibits include, for example, the large hanging sculpture "Ouranopolis" by Anne and Patrick Poirier, which was last shown as part of their "Mnemosyne" exhibition in 2016. Luise Kimme's colourful, dancing wooden figures or the lasciviously lolling "Satyr" by Stephan Balkenhol can also be rediscovered. As part of the presentation of the collection, a number of works can be seen for the first time in the sculpture park, including Norbert Kricke's work "Space sculpture white 1975/42" or Richard Deacon's stainless steel relief "Alphabet F" from 2011. Part of the permanent exhibition installed outside will also be redesigned and supplemented by new exhibits. These include sculptures by Georg Baselitz, Erwin Wurm and Not Vital, which were entrusted to the Waldfrieden as permanent loans. Added to this is Mischa Kuball's kinetic installation "rotating_mirror_horizontal", which he created especially for the sculpture park.
